Bloomfield Wins At Wakefield

The latest round of the Wakefield Summer Series took place over the weekend, and saw a dominant performance from Darren Bloomfield.

The Wakefield track crew did their usual superb job in preparing the track with some new and improved features and with the heavy rain playing havoc down in the South of the country, several drivers made the trip North to enjoy the track.
Darren set a scorching pace throughout qualifying that saw him blast to the TQ time in all 3 rounds of qualifying to take the pole with his Bullitt powered Agama A8. Running some new development parts that helped provide his incredible speed at the NEO race the week before. Using V-Max in Supersoft compound, Darren was really happy with the performance of his car saying he could drive the pace easily. Fellow Agama driver Jonny Skidmore also performed very well after his excellent drive at the NEO race to place his car in the main final.
In the final Darren would dominate out front on his own, setting some very fast and consistent laps on his way to a convincing win.
