Ireland 2013

2013 season is nearing its end and has been a good year for the Nemo Racing team in Ireland . With drivers taking club championships and filling some of the top positions in the national series, the racing has been fast and furious…

In the national series we have had several podiums and may have won a few rounds but for some bad luck. In the overall results we had James Clarke taking a 10th and showing lots of promise ,a really good year for the junior driver new to the team for 2013. Next up we have Richard Quigley finishing a good 7th overall after producing some really good runs this season to finish well. Alan Scroggie finished a solid 5th overall and really could have been higher, but for some of the aforementioned bad luck,  and finally Barkley Abernethey finished 3rd overall and on the podium in nitro and 2nd overall in the 1/8e category after a busy year! Gary Baird (beta bullitt piranha) took an excellent 2nd overall this year, which was great effort to run the champion so close.

On to the club Championships and Alan Scroggie dominated the NIMCC astro championship to put his Agama on top of the podium….over at BADMCC  Barkley took the Championship with a comfortable margin with Gary Baird (beta bullitt piranha) joining him on the podium in 3rd. James Clarke claimed top junior and 7thoverall after a super debut season.

Its been a very busy year and its not quite over yet, we look forward to a 2014 that can bring even more success in an ever growing Nemo Racing team.
